Kauhava Church is a neo-Gothic style tower with a long church in Kauhava. The church was designed by architect Josef Stenbäck. The church can accommodate 950 people. The church was built on a concrete slab that could not withstand its weight, and in 1962 it had to be rebuilt on top of reinforced concrete piles. The interior of the church was painted in 1964 and 1979 according to the plans of Yki Nummi, and the old concrete slate roof was renewed in 1980 as a copper roof. The altarpiece "Jesus Blesses the Children" dates from 1882 and is from the old church in Kauhava. Kauhava Church is the second last of the churches designed by architect Josef Stenbäck. The monument to the heroes' cemetery of the church is a sculpture by sculptor Johannes Haapasalo from 1946.
