Water supply cooperation

2015:

Laitila is involved in the development plan "Groundwater resources for active utilization in southern Satakunta and Laitila", which began in 2014. The purpose of the project is to ensure the supply of good groundwater in terms of quantity and quality to the inhabitants of the area and especially to the needs of the growing industry. The water at Laitila's intakes is of good quality, but new groundwater areas can no longer be used. The Hinnerjoki-Laitila interconnection pipeline may be implemented in the next few years. In 20-50 years, Satakunta may have a common artificial groundwater pool. Planning continues at the ELY Center and the municipalities in the area in cooperation with other partners.

2016:

During the autumn of 2016, the plans will be completed and at the same time a water abstraction application will be prepared for official processing. In addition, the city of Laitila has commissioned a plan to build a water pipeline from Eura to Laitila. Construction of the water pipeline should begin in 2017.

2017:

Construction of the Hinnerjoki - Laitila interconnector began in July 2017. The line will be completed in early 2018.

This is a joint sub-project of the cities of Laitila, Uusikaupunki and Rauma, which is related to a larger joint project between 18 municipalities and the city to promote the availability of skilled labor. These cities form a common area of employment and, as regional cities, play a key role in the ongoing positive structural change in south-western Finland.

Employers ’biggest concerns and barriers to growth are currently related to the availability of skilled labor. The situation is challenging and there is a shortage of labor in almost all industries, and the situation is forecast to deteriorate further over the next year. Unemployment rates are low in all sub-project cities, and it is not possible to produce labor that meets the needs of companies by means of labor market policy. In order to ensure the competitiveness of companies, the operating conditions and the development of production, new ways of finding a skilled workforce must be considered.

The project will identify good practices for attracting and retaining foreign workers and international professionals. The project is company-oriented and aims to support the international recruitment of companies and employers and to strengthen critical skills.

The project has started with a study of the expert needs of companies in the area. The project also identifies good practices to support the integration of both labor migrants and international students into the region. At the same time, we support the growth of companies, business development and internationalization.

五、风景名胜,景点( attractions)

1. Laitila Church

 2.png

St. Michael's Church in Laitila is a medieval greystone church located in Laitila. The stone church was probably built around 1460-1483. The Kalanti school made the church's limestone paintings under the direction of Peter Henrikinpoja in 1483. Among other things, the church's arcaded artwork is cleverly painted with a free-waving vine painting. The church also has a crucifix from the 15th century.

The church is a vaulted late Gothic three-nave hall church. The vault is five-pointed and the cross-section of its pillars is cross-shaped. The brick end in the west is similar to that in Porvoo Cathedral. The hero statue of the church is the work of sculptor Jussi Vikainen from 1951.

2.Vainionmäki cemetery

 3.png

Vainionmäki Cemetery was discovered in the 1980s in Laitila's Kodjala in Southwest Finland. It is a combustion cemetery and a stone mound, which dates back to the Merovingian period around 650-800. Eleven swords, spearheads, knife centers, shield supports, riding aids, and the remains of about ten men have been found in the cemetery. Some of the weapons were richly decorated, the swords even have semi-precious stones (garnets). The tomb has apparently buried notables from several generations, possibly heads of the nobility. Women were also buried in the cemetery.

3. Untamala

 4.png

Untamala is an old village center and agglomeration in northwestern Laitila. At its type, it is a sober village that was born on a ridge, along a waterway. Today, the village is crossed by Highway 8. The village now has a village church, a village house and a local history museum, as well as a café, which is open in summer. Untamala school has grades 1-6. Untamala probably got its name from the ancient Germanic name of a man, from which, for example, the form Untamo is known in the Kalevala and in folklore also Untamoinen. There are about 380 inhabitants in Untamala.

In addition to the fact that Highway 8 passes through the village, there is also a bicycle path made in the 21st century between the village and Laitila City Center, which is one of the longest in Laitila. The nearest agglomerations are 5 km from Laitila Center and 9 km from Pyhäranta Ihode.

六、历史文化

1.历史

The first signs of settlement from Laitila are five thousand years ago, in Leinmäki and Nästi, the settlements of fishermen and seal hunters from the comb-ceramic Stone Age. Half of the current Laitila was then under the sea. During the Bronze Age (about 1500-500 BC), Scandinavian people moved in the area, which can be deduced from more than 200 heaths and two bronze axes.

Permanent village settlement began after the beginning of time, when the labyrinthine bay extended to the central parts of Laitila. Born e.g. The villages of Untamala, Laitila, Valko-Soukainen, Salo and Kodjala (most of Kodjala belonged to Kalanti until 1917). Today, there are more than 40 villages, and they were all born by the turn of the 16th century. The most significant finds of the Iron Age are the Soukainen Drinking Horn from the 30th century and a provincial Roman wine bucket found in the village of Salo. Stories about Kalevanpoja are recorded in Laitila, and Kalevanpoja's scythe stick stands in the churchyard of Untamala.

Lake Valkojärvi, which has been drained into a field in the 20th century, gradually shrank from the ancient bay. Laitila is one of the oldest Christian areas in our country: small churches were built in Untamala, Valko, Laitila and Kodjala as early as the Middle Ages. Kodjala Church disappeared when the new era came. St. Michael's Church in Laitila with its vault paintings was completed in 1483, Untamala has a wooden village church dedicated to St. Petersburg from 1785 and the church originally built in Valko has been located in Soukais for more than 200 years (Perttel Church). The statue of Bishop Eerik Sorolainen, who was born at the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries, was in Kirkkopuisto (Jussi Vikainen 1968).

For centuries, the road from Turku to Rauma has intersected in Laitila with the road from Uusikaupunki to Häme. The village of Laitila, at the crossroads, gradually developed into the administrative and commercial center of the parish. The municipality of Laitila was founded in 1868 and has been a city since 1986. The town hall dates from 1988 (Veijo Martikainen).

Until the 1960s, Laitila's main occupation was agriculture and forestry. From the Middle Ages to the 19th century, Laitila and neighboring municipalities professionally manufactured a wide variety of wooden containers, most of which were shipped abroad. Cooperatives have been strong since the beginning of the 20th century, e.g. among the largest in the country were the dairy cooperative and the egg sales cooperative. A wonderful memory of Laitila's agrarian past is the Kauppila closed yard, which has served as a museum since 1975, and whose buildings are in their original location. Along the village track of Untamala, in addition to the village church, there is the Sark Peasant Museum and Iron Age cemetery mounds.

Laitila has not belonged to the manor area; of the parish's three manors, two still exist, Kaukola and Palttila. In the middle of the 17th century, Laitila was part of Vaasapor County. In the second half of the 18th century, a large number of Laitila's peasants were under the rule of Männäinen Ruukki.

2. 文化体育

Laitila has a very large number of Iron Age antiquities, the most famous of which are the so-called Kodjalan warrior's grave. Finland's oldest glass object, the Roman-era Juomasarvi, has been found in Laitila's Soukais. The Untamala Archaeological Information Center, formerly maintained by the National Board of Antiquities, operated in the village of Untamala.

The nationally significant built cultural environments in Laitila, defined by the National Board of Antiquities in 2009, include the Untamala sober village, the Suontaa group village and the Koukkelan Kauppila closed-farm peasant house. Attractions in Laitila also include the Kattese stone, the Egg Market, which is celebrated every summer, the bust of Kustaa Hiekka in front of Kustaa Hiekan Lukutuva and the Pahojärvi Hidden Church. The films Härmä and The Two-Headed Kotka in the Shadow have been shot partly in Laitila. In the 1980s, Laitila's parish dishes were called potash heating, ie kale brother, and Laitila's rooster pepper.

The operating idea of the sports activity is to provide sports services in such a way that the citizens have diverse opportunities to engage in sports and to support the sports organization in their activities. Laitila offers opportunities for varied sports, the sports venues are in order and the club's program includes about twenty sports.

The Sports Department takes care of the development and maintenance of sports facilities and organizes swimming schools and sports schools for children, water gymnastics for the adult population, wooden gym activities and a wide range of fitness and health sports. A key part of providing services is cooperation with various actors.
